Valderrama Upsets Alexander in Opening Contest!

A minor upset in our opening contest as Jose Valderrama won a four-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Chris Alexander.

The bout was even until the third round when Valderrama unleashed a right hand that staggered and eventually dropped Alexander.  Later in the round, a Valderrama left hand did more damage to Alexander, knocking him down for a second time.  Alexander managed to survive the round.

Valderrama won by three scores of 38-36 to raise his record to 4-7, three KO's.  Alexander is now 4-1, four KO's.

Next up: Dominic "Lights Out" Wade of Largo, MD (14-0, 10 KO's) battles Marcus Upshaw of Jacksonville, FL (15-11-2, seven KO's). Eight rounds, middleweights.

Dominic is in a tough fight. I know first hand how Marcus is always in the gym and in shape.

If Dominic stops this guys it will be very impressive as I know Marcus has come to win.

This kid was going around claiming to be the next great thing under Al Haymon and couldn't get pass a guy who was destroyed by fighters like Robert Easter and Jamel Herring... Chris Alexander isn't a top prospect that he claims to be.
